I did not brown the chicken first - I hate when crock pot recipes say to do that (& I never do it)... why use a crock pot? But I did saute the veggies and add the broth & almond butter to make the sauce because I was afraid it would be lumpy if I didn't.

December 31 (Day +1)
Okay, the verdict is in... lost a little over 6 pounds in the 30 days. Wish it had been more, but as you age you lose more slowly. I think I am going to stay with the program, but maybe not as strictly. I've really loved not counting stuff and knowing exactly what to eat and not eat. Thanks for all who've kept up with me. I'll update as warranted.

December 30, 2015 (Day 30!)
Wow! Day 30... can't believe it. In keeping with the program, I've just returned from Fresh Market, where I bought fresh grouper for dinner, along with some navel oranges.

December 29, 2015 (Day 29)
Can this really be Day 29? I'm astounded by how quickly the 30 days went & amazed that I have committed to the program for that long... with no cheating. Hope I see some results on the scale & if I don't, hope I am mature enough to recognize the other benefits of the program. Not entirely sure of my maturity level!
After mall walking with friends (the weather was terrible here), I had the kale & Brussels sprout salad with chicken for lunch at BJs. It was good but I forgot to take a pic. :(
